Our Stories: NAACP and Sharing stories in these unprecedented times

The Berkshire Museum presented panel discussion on Friday, Oct. 2, 2020. Judith Monachina, Dennis Powell, and Len Kates discussed the NAACP Oral History Project and the exhibit at the Museum that featured that project.  The panel was seen on PCTV, live, and also via the Museum’s virtual conferencing platform, Ring.

Craig Langlois, Berkshire Museum Chief Experience Officer, who oversaw the original exhibition and the virtual version of that exhibit, introduced the panel;  Jeff Rodgers, Berkshire Museum Director, explained that he saw the exhibit in 2019 while visiting to interview for his current job.  When he saw the exhibit, he thought he’d like to be a part of this community.
