Our podcasting workshop series on April 7, 14, and 21, 1-3, at Berkshire Community College in Pittsfield, will be held online, via Zoom. The workshop is free of charge, and sponsored by the Housatonic Heritage Oral History Center at Berkshire Community College, which is a collaborative project of Housatonic Heritage and Berkshire Community College.
This time, Reinout van Wagtendonk, radio journalist who led the workshops here last year, in person, will be joined by Bob Shepherd, an audio engineer who also led a session and has advised us on audio editing. Tattiya Maruco at BCC is providing the leaders with Zoom training and will be a part of the workshop too.
After three sessions, each participant should have a complete or nearly complete first podcast! If needed, we will have a fourth session.
Registration is limited to 10 participants, and preference will be given to people who are working with oral history. The workshop will be geared toward using oral interview interviews in podcasts. Please write (jmonachina@berkshirecc.edu) or call (413-236-1025) with questions or to register.
If you register and then realize you cannot participate, please tell us so that we can offer that spot to someone else.
