Berkshire Community College

Oral History and Social Justice, BCC Main Campus, Tuesday, Nov. 13, 1-2:30.  Led by Alisa Del Tufo of Groundswell, Oral History and Social Justice.  Alisa is currently working on projects in NYC, Austin/Houston, Texas, and Vermont, with groups who wish to address racial injustice (Texas); inter-generational understanding (NYC); and sexual assault (Vermont).  In one project, she is working to train church members and students at Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCU) to do oral history interviews in order to share those stories with members of their own and other communities.
