Harry Park is Public Programs Specialist at the Berkshire Museum. He came to our May Symposium and at the end, when we were going around the room and telling each other what we hoped the Oral History Alliance would do, Harry offered to work with those of us who would like to collaborate with the Museum.
Harry, above, took me through a model of the planned Curiosity Incubator, where I sampled an immigrant stories audio display and looked at artifacts that will be presented within various contexts, depending on how deeply into the history of the thing the visitor wants to go. We also discussed the Decision Theater, an interactive program that brings children into decision making exercises on issues such as melting polar caps. JM
